Anledningen till uteblivet svar på din fråga är därför att man INTE använde kjolar förren på 1500-talet. Kvinnan bar helt enkelt klänningar vid alla väder och tillfällen. Man har hittils inom forskning inte funnit några bra belägg för att tvådelade kvinnodräkter skulle vara aktuella under medeltiden. Så mitt tips är att du glömmer tanken om kjol, tar på dig extra klänningar och syr ett par hosor ( för övrigt se min diskussion i ämnet i tråden kvinnans kläder under underklänningen").

Kjolen jag hade i åtanke är underkjol (mellankjol)i ylle, jag har för mig att sådant använts tidigare än 1500?? Jag brukar dra på mig en varm underkjol i stället för fult fusk med långkalsonger under mina vackra klänningar. Intressant att höra att det är felaktigt när det är så praktiskt.

Jag är inte totalt nybörjare på medeltida kläder, jag vet inte vart ni fick det ifrån?

Jag själv återskapar medeltid så korrekt jag kan. Det är svårt att veta vad folk här på forumet kan. En del är forskare, andra amatörer och en del totala nybörjare. När en helt ny person ställer en fråga här så har jag förtroende för att den kan söka kunskap själv. Såklart menade jag inte att dräkten ska sys i linne utan med linne alltid underst och ylle i kläder som syns. Men det är alltid nyttigt att diskutera!!!

Lycka till med din dräkt! (ett tips: under medeltiden hade man bara linne, ylle, hampa och andra naturfibrer att tillgå, sammet uppfanns på sent 1400-tal och siden var ett tyg för adeln. Sy dina kläder i naturmaterial så blir det korrekt.)
