Kläderna ska tillhöra en adlig roll så jag kanske kan använda andra material än just ylle och piffa till några extra detaljer som gör att dräkten ser mer exlusiv ut.

Över detta bars i stort sett alltid en kjortel, ibland knäppt framtill, man bar alltid mössa utomhus. Även midjeväskan verkar ha varit ett obligatorium.

Generellt sett tillverkades alla standardkläder i borgarklass och nedåt i ylle och linne. Yllet under senmedeltid betraktades som hög kvalitet om det var hårt valkat (så man inte såg trådarna i det) och var tunt. Kläde från Flandern och England var i regel hög standard, inhemskt producerade tyger kallades vadmal (men behövde inte skilja sig från utländskt kläde i kvalitet).

Tips kan vara att stärka krage, infodring, och ärmfästen för att få snygg passform, fordra tröja och kjortel med linne (eller ylle), och stärka hosorna i överdelen där de utsätts för mycket påfrestning.

Vad gäller skor så är det vanligast med lågskor utan snabel i Skandinavien. Men alla typer förekommer.

Salader hade i regel fast inredning stoppad med ull, bomull, tagel, tyg eller liknande. Troligen bar man någon form av coif under detta. För er som ska avbilda Skandinavien rekommenderas dock kittelhatt, som verkar vara till 95% den vanligast hjälmtypen här uppe under 1400-talet.

Men det ska inte vara någon avancerad kröningsdräkt eller liknande utan praktiska kläder som man kan röra sig i med lätthet vid t.ex. långsvärdsfäkting.
(Vill gärna ha lite tips på både kläder till fest och vardag)

Jag behöver också ha råd om vilka textilier som passar bäst till de olika klädesplaggen och vad som funkar och inte funkar.

Några bra förslag på diverse skomönster, snabelskor eller höga stövlar vill jag också ha.

Och vad hade man egentligen under en salad? Är det tidsenligt att ha en vadderad huva under en hjälm med läder "inredning" eller ska man ha en fast hjälmfodring av t.ex. linne stoppat med ull.
