* Benediktinerna (inkl cistercienserna) är en sluten orden, så bröderna är knappast ute och går bland folk speciellt ofta.
* Både franciskaner och dominikaner fanns i Sverige vid 1250, franciskanerna i Visby, Söderköping, Lund, Skara, Uppsala och Enköping. Dominikanerna fanns i Lund och Visby, samt troligen på ett par fler ställen även om jag inte har årtal.
* Franciskaner och dominikaner är predikande ordnar, så hittar man en munk ute bland folk är det troligtvis en sådan

Franciskanerdräkten är i ofärgad grå eller brun ull, och består av en enkel kåpa med hätta, byxor och ett rep om midjan. Repet har tre knutar vilka representerar klosterlöftena om fattigdom, lydnad och kyskhet. Hättan kan vara fastsatt eller lös. Vanligtvis gick de barfota eller med sandaler (iaf sommartid) - regeln tillåter skodon vid behov.

Dominikanerdräkten är en vit tunika med hätta och scapula, svart bälte med radband och svarta skor. Utomhus bars en svart mantel och hätta.

* Det är faktiskt inte så sannolikt att de hade kors över huvud taget; jag har inte sett det nämnt nånstans. Däremot kunde de ha radband.

Även tiggarordnar som Franciskanerna (aka gråbröder) och Dominikaner (aka svartbröder) fanns i Sverige, men de grundades i början av 1200-talet, så jag vet inte om de hade hunnit sprida sig till Sverige innan 1250.

Hade lite problem att hitta en beskrivning på nätet, men det verkar som om cisterciensernas dräkt i allmänhet är oblekt vit, med undantag för en svart scapula. Benediktinerna å andra sidan verkar ha haft svarta kåpor.

Fråga 2 vid denna tid annvändes dom vanliga enkla korsen ? eller fanns de korsen med en rund ring runt då?(dom kallas vad jag tror helt felaktigt keltiska kors).
