Från Björkö finns det tyvärr inga byxfynd, i vart fall inte direkt (knäbyxor kan man med viss fantasi se spår av i grav 905) - däremot från Hedeby i nuvarande Tyskland. Det som gör att de fragment man hittat där har kunnat tolkas som byxor är att de har samma typer av grenkilar som Thorsbjerg-byxorna. Det är dock fråga om små fragment - så gissa får man göra hur man än vänder sig om man vill använda Hedeby-fynd som huvudkälla.
Linne är det ont om överlag i fynden och mig veterligt har inga fragment kunnat knytas till underkläder så "brokar" kan inte beläggas - men där får du själv avgöra huruvida du vill spekulera eller ej. Ylle behöver inte klia alls - välj kammgarn till byxorna så får du se.

Vad jag har läst så har det grävts upp ett par byxor på Birka som har daterats till 900-talet och dom var i stort sett likadana som Thorsbjergs-byxan.
Men om det inte stämmer så finns där kanske inga byx fynd från denna perioden, och då blir kanske bara till att köra med gissningsleken.

Men byxor har diskuterats här på forumet en hel del så du hittar säkert något matnyttigt under någon annan tråd!
