Jag har ibland sett läderremmar som man har skurit två slitsar i (så att det är tre remmar i större delen av biten, men hel i ändarna, om du förstår hur jag menar), och sedan flätat den i sig själv så att det blir en snygg symmetrisk fläta som har två platta, oflätade ändar... hmm, det var svårt att förklara, jag ska försöka hitta en bild som visar hur jag menar.

Vet någon om det finns några bra instruktionssidor på webben för olika varianter av läderflätning? Jag har försökt lite grann själv, men har inte varit särskilt framgångsrik...

Det kan jag tänka mig! Jag har inte heller hittat några riktigt bra instruktionssidor på webben.
Däremot finns det ett par riktigt bra instruktions<i>böcker</i>! (Såna med papper, du vet.. [;)])

Mycket är givetvis inte ett skvatt medeltida, t ex är det som kallas [url="http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/lasse_carenvall/detail?.dir=1721re2&.dnm=4c35scd.jpg&.src=ph"]Crocodile Ridge[/url](inte särskilt bra bild, tyvärr) en teknik som uppstått i Argentina. Däremot är olika [url="http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/lasse_carenvall/detail?.dir=1721re2&.dnm=180fre2.jpg&.src=ph"]applicerade[/url] flätor ([url="http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/lasse_carenvall/detail?.dir=1721re2&.dnm=707ere2.jpg&.src=ph"]detalj[/url] )både snygga och roliga!

Rimligen bör man ha flätat läder även på medeltiden, men är det någon som känner till några exempel? Vore kul att leka lite med medeltida förebilder.
