Först och främst mungigevirtuosen Gustav Svalberg som spelades in på fonografrulle på Skansen 1920. Dessa inspelningar finns utgivna på LP Skivan heter Äldre svenska spelmän. Jag kommer inte ihåg om det är vol. 1, 2, eller 3. Senast (som jag känner till) gavs den ut på Shilling Records. Någon gång i början av 70-talet kom det ut en skiva med värmländsk folkmusik "Lika många fötter i taket som på golvet". Där spelar Inger Stinnerbom en eller två låtar solo på mungiga. Till sist har jag själv gett ut två CD där jag använder mungiga flitigt, både som soloinstrument och i samspel med andra äldre svenska instrument. Skivorna heter ALDER AW21 (tongång) och ANDOR trad2 (ad Inexplorata) Den senare finns presenterad på nätet på www.explorata.net/andor där det även finns nedladdningsbara MP3-or på några av låtarna.

Andra svenska grupper som har använt sig flitigt av mungiga som effekt/komp är t.ex: Trio me Bumba, Folk och rackare, Hedningarna, Garmarna och Sorkar och strängar.

Norge har tidigare nämnts som en utmärkt källa. Jag håller med. Förutom vad som tidigare har sagts vill jag tipsa om Cd-skivorna Dolkaren (sylv2) och Skjoldmöyslaget (sylv3) där man kan höra några suveräna munharpeslåttar med Thorleiv Björgum. Dessutom det häftigaste mungigekompet jag har hört finns på CDn Skjemt og sjanti (Frode Nyvold) där Ånon Egeland visar sin bästa sida.

Sist men inte minst: Mungigeskivan med stort M. "The lark in the clear air" med bröderna Wright. Den här skivan gavs ut som LP på Irland någon gång på 70-talet, men har återutgivits på CD. Här kan man bl.a. höra trestämt mungigespel.

Jag tog några korta exempel för att inte bli för långrandig.

Alltså grupper som spelar det, hemsidor som har det som bakgrund m.m.
Och självklart "historisk" musik.
