Ett allmänt tips när man köper rustning är att man prover grejerna så att de passar. Jag gjorde misstaget att köpa serieproducerat, och fick en rustning som skaver och ser allmänt taskig ut. Har man tur så passar det, men köper man något som inte passar så tröttnar man förr eller senare och köper något dyrare efter det. Då kan man lika gärna köpa dyrare formsmitt från början. Det ser som regel bättre ut också.

Kollar man tidigt 1300 tal så har det börjat smyga in plåtdelar som täcker arm och ben, men långt ifrån de varianter du länkat till här. De är mera representativa för 1400 talet, tom senare hälft skulle jag vilja påstå.

Om jag förstår detta rätt ska man ha axelskydd, armskydd och handskar där armskydden sitter ihop i ett stycke samt lårskydd, knäskydd och benskydd som sitter ihop i ett stycke och längst ner sk "sabatons."

Om allt det här nu stämmer, hur vet man då hur just dom här delarna såg ut under 1300 talet?
