Jag håller på att kolla upp om det finns ett historiskt användande av långbåge/pilbåge och liten sköld. Har sökt på nätet efter sådana belägg och kollat upp den lilla historiska litteratur om medeltida vapenslag som jag äger, dock utan resultat. det enda jag hittar är användandet av paviser/spjutmänsunderstöd samt vässade träpålar för försvar...

Det jag funderar över är om detta är praktiskt genomförbart och om det är det varför det eventuellt aldrig har slagit igenom...

kan tänka mig att i alla fall en liten sköld kan ha varit praktisk för ett grundläggande försvar i händelse av närstrid... jag är mycket väl medveten att bågskyttar sällan hamnade i närstrid och var därför inte rustade för detta, men tycker dock att möjligheten borde funnits...

om någon känner till en sådan kombination, kan ni vänligen hänvisa till någon källa (bok eller internet), bildkälla eller annan källa...
